This landing pad is one of the first accessories that was bought and, so far, I am quite happy with it. It is well made with a tough rubber/vinyl exterior and is heavy enough not to require pins to hold it on the ground. I am looking forward to many years of use. Review: Great landing pad - Sturdy! nice that it is double sided; orange side and a green side to select appropriately depending on where you are placing it. I take this to a construction site so when I place it on the dirt I put the green side up. Setup is easy; unfold it and plop it down on a flat surface! stable; doesn't lift up when the drone turns on. ## Features - Easy set up. Rugged 600 denier orange polyester landing pad springs into shape when released from 27 inch carry bag - No stakes required. 19 pound weighted zinc coated patented perimeter cable keeps landing pad in place throughout takeoff and landing - Keeps drone clean. Takeoff and landing drone thrust can sand blast camera lens, motor bearings and rotors - Protects rotors. Tall grass and pebble strikes are eliminated - Quick clean up. Components clean up quickly with a wet towel; urethane coated pad bottom seals out morning dew ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01I0EV8VW | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Age range (description) | Adult | | Are batteries included? | No | | Battery Capacity | 2000 Milliamp Hours | | Battery Cell Composition | Zinc | | Best Sellers Rank | 663,269 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) 1,820 in Remote & App-Controlled Helicopters | | Brand | Hoodman | | Brand Name | Hoodman | | Colour | Orange | | Connectivity Technology | USB | | Connectivity technology | USB | | Control Type | Remote Control | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 177 Reviews | | Included Components | Remote Control | | Includes Remote? | Yes | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 2.44L x 2.44W x 0.02H metres | | Item Weight | 10.89 kg | | Manufacturer | Hoodman | | Material | Zinc | | Media Type | ProductImage | | Model Name | 8 Ft Pad | | Model Number | D120282 | | Model name | 8 Ft Pad | | Number of Items | 1 | | Optical Sensor Technology | optical flow, infrared | | Part Number | HDLP8 | | Rechargeable Batteries Included? | No | | Skill Level | Beginner | | Special Features | High-Visibility Orange, Weighted Perimeter | | Special feature | High-Visibility Orange, Weighted Perimeter | | Supported Image Format | JPEG | | UPC | 017932334516 | | Video Capture Format | MP4, AVI, MOV | | Video Output Resolution | High Resolution | | Wireless Communication Technology | Radio Frequency | ## Product Details - **Age range (description):** Adult - **Battery capacity:** 2000 Milliamp Hours - **Brand:** Hoodman - **Colour:** Orange - **Connectivity technology:** USB - **Included components:** Remote Control - **Item weight:** 24 Pounds - **Model name:** 8 Ft Pad - **Skill level:** Beginner - **Special feature:** High-Visibility Orange, Weighted Perimeter ## Images ![8 Foot Weighted UAV Drone Landing Pad fits Matrice 350, Freefly Alta, Sony Airpeak S1, Durable, No Stakes Required, collapses to 1/3 of deployed size - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Hlh5NI+HL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ New drone pilot *by A***R on 12 November 2025* I am a new drone pilot with a recently purchased DJI Min 5 Pro. This landing pad is one of the first accessories that was bought and, so far, I am quite happy with it. It is well made with a tough rubber/vinyl exterior and is heavy enough not to require pins to hold it on the ground. I am looking forward to many years of use. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great landing pad *by T***T on 20 August 2026* Sturdy! nice that it is double sided; orange side and a green side to select appropriately depending on where you are placing it. I take this to a construction site so when I place it on the dirt I put the green side up. Setup is easy; unfold it and plop it down on a flat surface! stable; doesn't lift up when the drone turns on. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good portable landing surface. *by M***M on 3 June 2026* Landing pad folds and unfolds easily which is handy. The weighted pad seems to be appropriate and have not had any issues with wind blowing it around. I prefer the orange side but, having a choice of 2 colors is nice. It loses one star because the surface material seems to scratch off easily. The green side has a few small nicks a scratches already and I've only used it on grass areas. ## Frequently Bought Together - Hoodman HDLP8 Drone Landing Pad Launch Accessory 8 Foot Diameter Fits DJI Matrice Alta Size Larger RC Quadcopter - SanDisk 128GB Extreme PRO microSDXC card + SD adapter + RescuePro Deluxe, up to 200 MB/s, with A2 App Performance, for smartphones, action cameras or drones UHS-I Class 10 U3 V30 - SanDisk 128GB Extreme microSDXC card +SD adapter, microSD card for smartphones, action cameras, drones, V30, up to 190 MB/s, SanDisk QuickFlow Technology, RescuePro Deluxe, UHS-I, 4k, V30, A2, U3 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/137200551-8-foot-weighted-uav-drone-landing-pad-fits-matrice-350](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/137200551-8-foot-weighted-uav-drone-landing-pad-fits-matrice-350) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
