It is a threatened variety there, but in the Caribbean and other regions they grow wild and are very common. In the full sun, the leaves become discoloured and the plant has yellow flowerlets: hence the name Golden cane palm. The Areca is not an easy plant, but it is popular in interiors. Under favourable conditions, it grows right up to the ceiling. In nature, it can grow to a height of 10 metres.Care recommendationPut the plant in a bright spot, but not in the full sun. The Golden cane palm also doesn’t like draughts or people bumping into it. Lastly, avoid radiators. In the summer, give the palm lukewarm water 2 to 3 times a week, and in the winter once a week. It likes to be misted every now and then. The plant grows slowly; during the growing period, give it nourishment a maximum of once a month.Plants Premium ShippingWe attach great importance to a safe and secure packe of your plant. I thought I would give it a few weeks and see how she got on. First picture was the day she arrived and the next taken today! She did start to loose a few leaves and brown, and I was initially concerned, however I persevered and look at her now, loads of new shoots and leaves, thank you so very much 🥰🥰🥰 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful tree I don't regret buying *by E***P on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 29 April 2020* I love this tree. Everything about it. Beautiful colours and just what I wanted for my yoga area. It came slightly shorter than what was described but it might grow a few inches Im sure. I have been watering it once weekly. so far so good. I have noticed in terms of price that it is more expensive than the same, size in some stores.. but this is comparing it to bigger chains. I ordered the cream plastic pot to go with it. Nothing extraordinary about it. Does the job. The tree though is A*** ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brings the wallpaper alive *by M***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 1 March 2020* After a busy day surrounded by people cars computers , it's nice to escape from the fast pace world , and relax. I like the way the plant makes the wall moral look as if it's coming out the wall , enhancing the feel of being outdoor . --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/137206856-indoor-plant-from-botanicly-golden-cane-palm-in-anthracite-cylindrical](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/137206856-indoor-plant-from-botanicly-golden-cane-palm-in-anthracite-cylindrical) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
