The last thing I really need is another reel but it's difficult to pass up a good deal so I thought I'd try my luck. Cranking the handle felt so smooth with little to no play. Some reels the handle has some wiggle to it, back and forth, where it connects to the main body of the reel, the Akataka didn't have any. Because I reel with my left hand I had to switch it to the other side. Like every other reel I've owned you just unscrew the cap and swap it around. There is a plastic bushing/piece that didn't stay attached to the screw and it took me a few minutes to figure out why I couldn't get the hand into the other side. I ended up putting a small screwdriver into it and took it out, put it back on the screw and re-assembled it.I would like some extra spools for different lines, that would be really great. Overall I really like the reel I received and may get a 2000 for my ultralight rods. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth every single penny *by A***K on Reviewed in the United States on June 4, 2019* This reel is perfect. I was a little hesitant at first because of the price being so low but after getting it I realized it had features that blew away most of the reels I spent double the money on. The drag is extremely smooth. The finish looks great. It handled very large catfish without a hiccup all day. I’d compare it to one of the penn battle fishing reels. As for the finish. It looks great.
