Update 10/6/21 - There is plenty of room to dehydrate a lot of veggies. Quite easy cleaning. I would buy another for twice the processing. I am adding to this review. This was purchased then delivered on nov 23rd by Jan 28th it no longer functions. I had til the 31st to return it. I processed the return. I have 30 days to send it back. New one on the way. If the same thing happens I will be back to report. I was very pleased with this unit. I searched a long time to find the right one for my needs. I thought this was it. Easy use buttons in the front of the unit. Large capacity clear front glass door. Clean look. Fit in the location I had for it. I sure hope I don’t regret getting a refund. I am a gardener and have many uses for this unit. If it DIES again my review will not be to ever buy this unit. Time will tell. We control weather they make money. Let’s just keep that in mind. My next stop will be back to the company if it does last more than a few months. Update on second unit. It just died again. I received the replacement in late March. Used this 2nd unit a few times. Review: Amazing quality! - I can't believe how nice this is. I went through a lot of listings for other brands and was very worried about the amount of plastic in the so called "high end" models. I went with this model because it was all stainless steel (and had the best reviews). The Ivation dehydrator (I got the 10 tray model) looks and feels like it was twice the cost. Everything about it is so well made, I was very impressed when taking it out of the box and it looks so good I don't mind leaving it out all the time (which is good because it is big!). There are a few features that I would have considered paying more for, if they were available as options. Being able to accurately set the temperature instead of the "9 degree" increments would have been nice. I'm new to dehydrating and if the recipe says 135 degrees, I would feel better setting it to the exact temperature instead of deciding to go higher or lower. I wish you could turn the beeping sound down or off, as it is a little loud. I would also have liked to purchase more of the fruit leather trays, as it only came with one. I haven't seen that as an option, though. But those aren't deal breakers for me. I would much rather have a high quality product at a very reasonable price and trade off a few features that aren't very important to me anyways. One other important feature for me besides the materials used to construct it is the size. And this thing is huge! I plan on gardening this year and I really want to dehydrate a lot of the harvest. Right now I have about 6 pounds of apples drying (sliced at about 3/16 of an inch). This would have taken days to get through the oven or a small dehydrator. I don't have an oven thermometer so I can't check the accuracy of the temperature setting. I am curious and will try to remember to update when I get one and check it out. Overall, really thrilled with this purchase! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best deal on Amazon if your looking for quality AND low price *by T***M on December 21, 2019* This dehydrator is super quiet. I believe it fits 10lbs of jerky in a single go since I filled 9.5 racks with 8.5 pounds, so 9.5 / 8.5 = 1.117 * 1.5 = 1.67 more pounds i could have fit. Light bleeds thru the plastic as those parts are thin (but strong, not cheapo plastic). There are a couple of manufacturer "dents" putting the unit together but hardly noticeable and no shipping issues. It arrived in a box in a box that was padded with styrofoam strips. Best deal on a dehydrator in my opinion. Only thing is I would like to cook my jerky at 163 degrees, but the unit allows only for like 158 then to 167 and nothing in between for temps.
