You just spray it on fabric, let sit a few minutes in plastic bag and then use a dry iron to completely dry it. The fabric feels paperish which makes it very easy to cut. Shipping was very fast. Review: This stuff is a game changer! - I love this stuff! It’s pricey, but worth every penny if you like the beautiful fabrics of Stonehenge or others that tend to ravel. It does make fabric stiffer, but it softens up as you work with it & this product washes out with the first wash of your completed project. Stiffer fabrics are easier to work with anyway. If you’ve ever been frustrated by dark fabric threads showing through light fabrics in your quilt & you couldn’t find black batting to camouflage them, you’ll love this. I did put mine in a mister for a lighter coverage. The only problem I had was that it left dark spots on navy Kona when I let it drip at the end of misting, but I didn’t see any of that on the Stonehenge prints. Since it was a king size quilt for a guest bedroom, I won’t be washing it any time soon so I just didn’t use that area. Not compatible with the sublimation ink. I think some even say it is not compatible with the Cricut sublimation ink. **Q: Product is stated to be 'water soluble'. Can you dilute it with water?** A: No, you do not dilute with water. You product is place in Terial, wring out the Terial. Let dry about 10 minutes, then press. Terial makes your fabric very firm , but when laundered Terial washes out. Great product. **Q: If using this for machine embroidery to avoid puckers, will puckers return after washing it out?** A: I have found that using Terial Magic Fabric spray along with the stabilizer does prevent puckers, I have washed some of the items that I have used this method on and have found no puckers after washing. This is a great product - applying it - finishes the fabric very stiff - which is very supportive in machine embroidery . In order to cut fabric it needs to be stabilized. I first tried the stabilizer sold by the company that makes the equipment. But it proved to be difficult to work with and ended up with a very bulky residue that was hard to get rid of and made the fabric a challenge to sew. A person in my Facebook group told me about Terial Magic and I found it lived up to its "Magic" name. It was easy to apply and turned the fabric into a paper like consistency. So much so that I was able to cut the fabric using a large paper cutter that I use to cut dozens of sheets of paper. I never dreamed of cutting fabric with it but it worked a dream. The print function in my print and cut equipment uses a metal tip. With that company's stabilizer, the pen snagged the fabric and did a mediocre job of drawing lines. With the Magic stabilizer the lines were perfect. But best of all working on quarter-scale prototypes of designs I have found I don't need to remove the Magic stabilizer because it does not make the fabric stiff like the other stabilizer did.
