This is a great machine much better than the one we had previously which burnt out. Worth every penny xxx **Q: Is it good for chopping parsley?** A: Its very good for chopping onions. Cannot see why it will not be good for parsley but be careful it could turn it into a pulp. So experiment with the number of turns you use **Q: Has anyone tried chopping the vegetables really small (like for manchurian balls) without having them turn into a mush or paste?** A: Don’t blend for long. What I do to get my tomatoes and habaneros in small bits is to blend and pause, blend and pause, 3seconds each time, till I get my desired texture. Once I get that, I stop blending, because any more would turn it into paste. Brilliant value and does exactly what it says. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ well made but not entirely efficient *by Y***I on 4 December 2024* Seems like a quality construction but it's quite likely that the plastic blade spindle will be the eventual weak link--could this have been made of light alloy? I have received this item today. I quickly learned that when trying to chop nuts it just doesn't pick them up properly so you don't get finely ground nuts--tilting the whole chopper corrects this --whether the manufactures would not recommend this is another matter. I just have to say my previous £10 model achieved this (Finely chopped nuts), lasted 2 years until the spindle cracked-it was used approx' three times per day.
