It has a lovely, light scent, and the packaging is simple and elegant, as usual for this brand. Unlike most toners, this one doesn't over-dry my skin, yet does a great job removing any last bit of makeup (gentle enough that I've even wiped the excess mascara from beneath my eyes), and leaves me 150% confident that my face is squeaky-clean w/zero impurities--yet it leaves my skin so soft (not tight and itchy) after use! It's effective, but gentle, and not in the way that you feel like you paid for 90% water. I use a bit on a single cotton ball at night and in the morning, all over my face and neck, and have noticed that my skin (I'm 35, with nice skin, albeit with the typical 'worries' creeping up) has improved in clarity, even skin tone, and overall complexion with continued use of this toner over the last few weeks. I have pretty soft clear skin to begin with, so I can't speak too much to improving the texture of my skin, but I find this toner to be very gentle and effective. It has a nice (maybe slightly strong) rosewater smell and it definitely cleans off any remaining residue on my skin and neck. It also doesn't burn my skin the way that regular toners do.
