It fits exactly as the measurements indicate, but you must read the product description to get the correct size. For reference, I am 5'0" tall and weigh 126 pounds. Most of my weight is in my middle. My waist is 32", and the size 12 (XXL) fit. There is NO stretch in the waistband and not a lot of room for error. The skirt is long on me, but that is to be expected. It will be easy to have it shortened. The colors pair nicely with navy, grey, white, pale pink, coral, and brown. I wore it to work with the pink blouse shown in pics and a white cardigan.
