It was very easy to secure with u-stakes inside the stone border. It's very warm and glowing, which we loved. It not only lights up the garden area but there is some nice residual light that accents other plants and trees close to the garden. The rope light is very strong but also very pliable adhering to the edges and around corners while we installed it. Made for easy work and no frustration. We ran the remaining light under our porch rug, ran it along the wall, hugging nicely and providing additional warm lighting. We plunged it right inside the door.
