The turntable is the star of the show. It is AWESOME! It turns fast and very smoothly. I have seen it used on YouTube tutorials - even as a base for piping frosting flowers on small squares of parchment paper instead of using the flower nails (also included). The piping tip selection is extensive. From small to large. Great so you can try petal tips and leaf tips... Open and closed and French star tips... A few Russian tips... I am new to this hobby and have found this set invaluable. I can watch a YouTube tutorial and have the same tips they're using every time. I didn't use the provided piping bags. I purchased name brand disposable bags - I wasn't sure these would be up to the task of holding the large amount of frosting I use to swirl cupcakes. More experienced people just cut off the tip of the bag and slip the tip into the end of the bag. I prefer to use the couplers. (I purchased a lot of extra couplers on Amazon). Especially when I was experimenting with what each tip did. I could switch out each tip of the same size on the same bag. It would have taken 100 bags of frosting if I had each tip slipped into each bag! This hobby has proved to be fun and relaxing for me. And friends and family are reaping the benefits, lol!
