Perhaps, I was lucky to find a colour that matches my complexion really well, but I was impressed to see it was able to slightly adjust to my skin colour as it changed between summer and winter months. I bought this product as a daily foundation when I also bought a rather expensive Charlotte Tilbury foundation and I dare say, this foundation is way better than the CT foundation! I wish they would use natural preservative instead of chemical (hormone disrupting) PARABENS!!! I justify using this product by avoiding parabens wherever I can in the other products I use. I have dry skin and even though this is best suited to more oily skin...if you use a really good moisturizer immediately before application...it goes on smoothly and gives a very good, lasting finish. I am blond and very fair. I use a natural based fake tan during the summer months. However, I have less than perfect skin on my legs...broken capiliaries, uneven tone etc. On a whim...I moisurized ONE of my legs and then tried this (in beige...a couple of shades darker than I would put on my face) I was amazed at the effect...it didnt hide everything but it toned it all in and gave a very flattering smooth, softly tanned effect. I did it on the other leg ( up to knee) and went out for the day...stocking free! Fake tan helps but did not give me enough confidence...this cream did! Please note: apply immediately after moisturizing each leg for it to spread smoothly. UPDATE: Try mixing it with a nice creamy body lotion...it goes on super smooth, especially around the foot/ankle area where most care is needed.
