It is expensive but truly makes the most of the hair I have; without it I would be in wigs. No other shampoo that I have tried can compare and at my age, I have tried many. The catch is, I have to order this product as it is no longer available in most stores. I have ordered it many times. With THIS supplier, the product was wrapped appropriately, safely. When I ordered from Target, one of the bottles opened and shampoo coated the inside of the box. I was desperate. I ordered it from another supplier and the identifying numbers were scratched off the bottle, the shampoo had been diluted, was not authentic. I threw that one out. But this shampoo is worth ordering again, and when I requested it from this supplier, not only was it authentic, the delivery was safe and expedient. This is absolutely the best supplier I have found for my shampoo. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars FORMULA CHANGE BEWARE *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on July 25, 2013* I have been using this shampoo for several years and LOVE IT. I bought this not knowing the formula had changed however (even the picture of the product was the old bottle format). After I opened the box I noticed that the bottle shape was different and there was a glaring "new and improved" stamp on the bottle. I was still using my old product and just recently ran out so I used the new bottle. WOW - the new forumla is not improved...it's HORRIBLE. The shampoo doesn't lather up like it used to and leaves my hair feeling tangled almost like hay. Thinking it was just a bad hair day, I have used it several more times noting the same thing. Even when I wash my hair twice, the hay feeling is still there. No amount of condition even comes close to making it feel silky like the "old" formula. There is still an element of volume in my hair but it is weighed down more with the extra condition I have to use to make the hay look a litle less hay feeling. There have been times I haven't been able to afford it, and have tried many different products that leave my hair lifeless, heavy, and laden with residue. I eventually always come back to Pureology, because my hair is light as a feather, I need only a small small amount, and it only needs to be washed once. It's 100% organic/vegan, so it's healthy too! I mix a volume shampoo (because my hair is lifeless) with a hydrating conditioner (because it's super hydrating for my super dry, processed hair) to get the best of both worlds! My hair dressers always comment on how healthy, shiny and soft my hair is, even though I process it blonde constantly.
