Der Ton ist Chamois, heißt heller natürlicher Cremton vergleichbar mit hellem naturbelassenem Leinen. Die Textur ist weich und glatt - also ohne Struktur, sodass korrekte Konturen und weiche Verwischungen möglich sind. Mit einem hochwertigem Fixativ behandelt und unter Glas gerahmt sind erst nach mehreren Jahren leichte Vergilbungserscheinungen zu beobachten, die aufgrund des Originaltons den Charakter der Zeichnung nicht wesentlich verändern. Die Oberfläche hat eine Rauhheit/Saugverhalten, die für Kohle und Kreiden ideal sind. Zu beachten ist allerdings der Feuchtigkeitgrad des Papieres (Luftfeuchte), da es aufgrund ebenjener Eigenschaften schnell quillt, wellt und die Kreide schmiert beim Wischen. Klaar. Die Micro-Perforation mag beim Abreißen einer gewissen Sorgfalt bedürfen, hat jedoch den Vorteil, dass die Abrisskante nicht als solche zu erkennen ist und einen zusätzlichen Beschnitt erübrigt. Die Grammatur ist mit 90 g/qm etwas schwächlich, da leicht durchscheinend.
