This item does not do what it claims to do.if you move the knob while you play (and not sure how you would do that) you'll get the wah effect, otherwise its a pretty lame filter that did next to nothing on any of the 5 guitars i tried it with.customer service seems to be limited to replacing the product and having to do so multiple times to get it correct, so i cannot in good conscience recommend this item. they get two stars because the metal housing was good quality, the parts were acceptable and the directions were included. the circuit design, not so much.
