With no hesitation, she knew exactly what it was for. The material is sturdy. The internal handle seems to be secured well. The added padding is a little too big for her right now, so we haven't used it. Viper has already ripped one of the stitches out, but I don't think that will make much of a difference for a while. She's not a working dog, or a schutzhund dog, or a protection dog. This is another tool we're using to burn some energy and allow her to use her teeth for what they were intended for. For what we need it for, it's perfect. For young dogs, it's probably great. For a working dog or competition use, it's probably not what you're after. It is awesome for the price. It is still in one piece for the moment. The sleeve is two pieces, that can be separated from one another. The bigger inside sleeve has a handle on the inside. The outer has a handle on the outside. Which is nice it makes it easier to grip. It maybe not be as tough as the really high dollar items, but this one has made it through the first few days with my Malinios, so I think that's say'in something!
