Ultimately, this is NOT a holster for effective carry. As another review mentioned, you cannot carry with the hammer back. While you CAN force it to snap with the hammer back, you end up with 2 problems. First, it's now somewhat loose in the holster. Second, the thumb safety will consistently disengage during normal carry.This is a reasonably well-made holster, but designed poorly. You aren't going to be able to ask the bad guy to wait a moment while you nervously try to thumb back the hammer after drawing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Product and Really Good Price!! *by C***S on Reviewed in the United States on July 13, 2019* Almost perfect in every way! Quality is fantastic and it was really easy to break in. The draw was also really smooth which is definitely a huge plus! My only issue, which is just my personal preference, is how it snaps shut. I prefer that to be on the outside of the holster for a quick release in the event of an emergency.
