The sizes vary between 2.5 inches and 4 inches wide. Thanks for our question. **Q: can these be used in an electric sauna** A: Absolutely they are an igneous/fire rock metamorphosed under pressure and high temperature. Sauna rocks should hold 500 degrees fahrenheit and these can go much higher. Our larger boulders are used locally in sweat lodges....and it doesn't get any hotter than that. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great color if you give them a chance. *by R***E on Reviewed in the United States on April 15, 2021* My rocks arrived covered with dust and an ugly gray color. But as I have been working on setting up my aquarium for a while I am very used to washing and rinsing things as I have found most items such as substrate are very dusty and drift wood is full of tannins all things that if not rinsed or soaked thoroughly will muck up your water. So don't let the dust on these deter you it's normal. The first thing I did was rinse them off. When the water hit them their true colors came through and they are beautiful. So don't write them off until you give them a chance. I received 6 rocks 1 large oblong one about 3/4 the length of my hand, 3 were medium size close to the palm of my hand and 2 smaller ones that still I would not consider actually small rocks. So I was very happy with the size and color. So definitely don't judge these rocks until you get them wet and show their true colors. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars They are rocks *by D***K on Reviewed in the United States on July 9, 2021* They look nice in a fish tank, rember to wash lil b9t dirty but esay to clean. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for my reptile tank *by A***N on Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2020* I wanted to get some large-ish rocks for my snake tank. These were perfect. I received a total of 8 rocks, each about the size of a fist or maybe slightly smaller. Nice variety of coloration on the rocks. I used 6 of them and the kiddos claimed one each for their rock collections. Definitely worth the money. Would highly recommend. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/138803221-large-3-granite-river-rock-5lb-decorative-natural-granetic-gneiss](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/138803221-large-3-granite-river-rock-5lb-decorative-natural-granetic-gneiss) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
