**Q: Im replacing a transformer jn1060p, w/ 2 red wires and a white and black.  ive received your product,  w/ 2 red and 2 white. which hooks up to black?**
A: The diagram on the unit shows the red (hot) wires as 110v INPUT, and the white wires as the 12v OUTPUT to lamp.

**Q: My ring doorbell requires a transfomer rated for 8-24 vac.  i have a kwo-light kl-787 installed in 1991.  does either qualify?**
A: Well for one I don't know the output voltage for the one you mentioned but if its within range of the specified voltage you should be okay, two transformers don't last forever and sometimes deliver unstable voltage and being this one is from the early 90's I would suggest starting off with a new transformer, ring type doorbells are sensitive and unproperly installed will give you issues in the future.

**Q: There were two differing answers on whether the red wires connect to 110 V. Which is correct?**
A: It is clear per photo the red wires connect to 110/220 AC so not sure what your question is.  If you are asking which to black and which to white neutral, that isn't not clear and no instructions or label came with the transformer.  If polarity does not matter either way should work.  I connect black and white to red (did not matter which to which).

**Q: Can this transformer be used with a dimmer?**
A: The description should give details regarding usage of transformer.  We are not using it on a dimmer.  I hope this is helpful.
