The toy is a fairly durable plastic, but most of the articulation points are snap off ball joints. The plastic sockets will eventually wear out, but what I got out of the box seemed fairly sturdy and tight to allow for posing and display.While this model is already assembled, here is the big catch: Transforming the kit between any of the three modes requires removing of parts and adding others. This can be quite a chore and takes a bit of time, especially since the instructions are in Japanese, though it has pictures that are not difficult to follow. There are many parts that need to be swapped out when changing modes. Landing gear, different gripped hands, and other components are all in the box and easy to loose if not careful.There is no need to do any painting or applying of decals, which was nice. I actually was expecting to do a lot more work with this kit to get it displayable, but other than the transforming process, I didn't worry about it.Overall, I love this thing. I was a fan of the anime and wanted one of these for my collection (hopefully the first of many). Just keep in mind that this isnt something that you will play with much. Its more for display and cool factor. ### ⭐⭐ save your money to buy one of Bandai's far superior DX Chogokin Renewal toys *by G***M on Reviewed in the United States on April 25, 2016* Small, delicate, fiddly, and far too many parts! Conversion between Battroid, Gerwalk, and Fighter modes requires disassembly and heavy parts swapping. The head broke off within a minute of opening the package. The instructions illustrate dismantling the Valkyrie to change modes, but it just isn't durable enough to survive. All I did was move the arms and twist the head and SNAP!
