Just tighten each screw a bit at a time, or you'll have it cockeyed. I thought it would make my bike slower but i actually have a higher top end now, noise from wind turbulence is also down. The vision is not affected as I look over the windscreen but keep in mind the tint is dark so if you plan to tuck under the shield, it will be hard to see especially at night.
