Review: Realistic candles! - Love these candles! The candles are plastic but you can’t even tell and the flame is so lifelike; it mimics the glow a real candle perfectly. Perfect addition to our fall decor. I also enjoy that it has a remote ( w/a battery already included). Remote allows you to adjust the dimness of the candles and has four timer options (4, 5, 6 and 8 hrs.). We have cats, so these work great and allows us to enjoy the ambience of candles without the worry of them knocking them over and lighting our home ablaze.
