We got our package today, opened it up, placed it on our bed and it looked so great.We were lounging and noticed a really bad odor. It smelled like burnt tires or fumes. I was sniffing around the bed and noticed it was from these pillow cases!The smell was so uncomfortable and so strong we had to take these pillows off the bed because it transferred to our other pillows and our clothes!I checked to see how we can wash them and all the instructions said was “see tag in pillow case”. I checked the tag and all it said was “spot clean with water only”....I’m not going to get rid of this odor just by spot cleaning it with water. That’s only necessary say if something spills on it. So unhelpful.I don’t know what I’m going to do with this but I sure as hell am not going to get rid of this smell just by spot cleaning it with water.If someone else has this issue, did you wash it in the washing machine anyway? I was able to stitch it up, but mentioned it to the owner (Corie) and they sent out a replacement cover right away! Such impressive customer service!
