This is worth the price and I don't think you will be disappointed.After using this, I'm convinced this is the way of the future. It just makes more sense for cleaning than what we've been using. I do wish they offered a way to widen the water stream diameter, which would offset the lack of a steering control offered on the more expensive units. This water stream diameter is very small and therefore covers a small area during the cleaning.Installation was simple and fast. I used a lot of plumbers tape to ensure there were no leaks. I did have to tighten everything again a day later when I noticed a few drops around the connections. I haven't hooked up the warm water yet since this will take more time and I'll need to tap the warm water from under the faucet. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Love this seat *by T***N on Reviewed in the United States on April 25, 2013* I've been using this for months now. It works great! Why didn't I know about these decades ago! It seems to have literally solved a health issue for me.The paragraph falls under the “too much personal information” but given you are reading this, you might be seeking the same relief I was . This thing delivered for me. I think it is as simple as keeping myself cleaner and fresher. I now experience have less irritation, less itching, lead bleeding, use less toilet paper use, etc. I needed this device a long time ago. I also have a foaming soap pump that I use for additional cleanliness. Enough said. No more personal stuff…The bad: None really. A sticker was applied just a smidge crooked so I pealed it off and threw it away. If the manufacturer wants to keep their name visible, make sure the label is perfectly square on the product. That’s it. My only complaintInstalling the seat: This installed very nicely underneath a Bemis elongated bowl seat. My seat is nothing fancy. It is nice to note that the Bemis seat is plastic and flexible enough to handle the funning angle and my weight. With the back of the seat propped up on the on the bidet, it no longer sits flat on the toilet bowl rim. If this was going to be a problem I was going to get some bumpers and try to add them to the seat but it works so far as is. It is not strange or uncomfortable. I don’t notice I am sitting at an angle. Even when I use another toilet in the house that is not upgraded, I cannot tell a different.The plumbing: It took me a day with my adjustable open-ended box wrench (that is, a crescent wrench) tweaking and adjust connections until all the dripping stopped. I am not a plumber but I do my own hookups for sinks, toilets, etc. Anytime I play with my water lines I am extra careful to not over tighten and I often need tighten things a bit to stop the drips. There are a few point at which this can leak it took a while to get it right. If you have a plumber or a friend do this, make sure you check for leaks every couple of hours and again on a routine basis as we all should for toilets. If you have not replaced your shutoff vale for the toilet tank and it is old, you may want to replace it. I had already swapped out the cheapo valves for ball valves and I had no issue turning off the water to the toilet. Make sure you can turn off the water to the house before you try to use the value to the toilet you have not used in a long time.Cold and hot water: I’ve never connected the hot water. I only use the cold. My water temp is probably in the 50s to 60s. I was really worried cold water was not going to be pleasant. I found to my surprise, it was pleasant. In fact, when summer gets it will be downright refreshing. I am no physician but I suspect we just down have that much sensitively to temperature on there. This unit is working with no problems with only the cold water plumbed in. The hot water inlet is capped and has not leaked on me. I don’t know that the product is expected to be operated this way but in my experience, it is working with no problem. Frankly, I am kind of relieved I don’t need to drill a hole in the wall to get the hot water feed from the sink on the other side of the wall. I also am glad I don’t need to rung the water to get it warm every time I go. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Water connections can be difficult *by E***H on Reviewed in the United States on July 15, 2011* First:My house is plumbed with copper tubing. The supplied T connector won't work directly with my original shutoff valve and flex hose to the tank.I had to purchase a new shutoff valve with a connector compatible with the supplied T. I also purchased a new flex hose to my toilet tank.Second: My toilet seat was a molded curvy plastic type. When I tried to place this seat on top of the bidet, the seat stuck up in the air by at least 1/2 inch.I happened to have an old stye flat bottomed wooden seat in a different bathroom. When I used the wood seat, It sat down flat as needed.Third: The connection between the new shutoff and the supplied brass T is still leaking.
