**Q: Does it test coins that are graded in sealed plastic? in pl**
A: NO IT WILL NOT TEST IF IT HAS A PLASTIC SEAL OR COVER ON IT

**Q: My question to the seller does this machine test for gold and fake ones ?**
A: If the item is not gold, the lights will stay in the N/A area and not move in to the other areas.   
It does not test for electroplating or Gold Filled.
Many times the items will have GF for Gold Filled or GP for Gold Plate or GEP Gold Electro Plated

**Q: What happens when you reach 5000 test?  I would reach that in about three months.  Can you replace the pen?**
A: Yes, you can buy another probe on Amazon, just specify the probe for that specific testing machine

**Q: This also detects gold pated or gold filled  pieces?**
A: Only reads on real gold  .plated items show up in the red as not gold. very impressed with this machine.
