I’m 62 years old 5’4, 160 with a thicker waist and round butt. I ordered the 32 and it’s a perfect fit and flattering style. Super stretchy and comfortable. No muffin top when I ride. Doesn’t shrink in the dryer. Legs a little long for my petite height but not a problem at all. The Medium weight is perfect for cool-warm weather. I would rather go larger than smaller & tight, as I am an older rider that likes to be comfortable, not showy. Ordered the size 34 R & they are like one to two sizes to large, but I kept them anyway as I thought maybe I could shrink them down in wash. So far they have stayed the same but that is ok as during colder weather that will leave room for tights. They are well made & length is just right to my ankles. They feel very solid, don't offer as much stretch as tights, but enough to ride. They look very good on her, but she complains that the top part does not feel comfortable on the waist.I use the same breeches in black and have the same complaint, but I still prefer those to thinner breeches offered by other brands. I always get compliments when I wear my breeches.
