Review: Good now - We purchased this in Dec 2019 and in April of 2020 had issues with it. The fan stopped spinning on me when the button was pressed. The company was quick to get back to me and told me I would have to pay for the part ($279) and shipping to ($75) and from ($42). They wanted it shipped to Hong Kong for repairs and the cost for me to ship it there was just way too much. I thought this had a 6-month warranty but was told they think I broke it so I was responsible for the cost of repairs. It did not make sense to spend close to $400 to repair it so I ordered a different brand on desertcart. Upadte, They took care of the proble, it did cost me a lot to ship it to them but all is good.
Review: Fun activity for the lake! But don't get it around sand! - I was impressed with this and my family thought it was really fun. One thing that I thought was misleading was the photo of it on the beach. Once is comes in contact with sand and sandy water the switches were difficult to use. The motor was much more powerful than I expected and we had fun laying down on our Paddle board using it as a motor! We explored the canyons of Lake Powell using it this was as well as snorkeling and swimming around the house boat. It's not cheap, but it is fun to have around!

I was impressed with this and my family thought it was really fun. One thing that I thought was misleading was the photo of it on the beach. Once is comes in contact with sand and sandy water the switches were difficult to use. The motor was much more powerful than I expected and we had fun laying down on our Paddle board using it as a motor! My friend has a yamaha underwater scooter, and I tried it and liked it very much so I want to buy one for myself. After some research, I bought this one, because the website claims it is faster. They aren't lying. It is faster than the yamaha, and the battery performance (usage and charging) is pretty good too. One hand mode can be handy when you need a spare hand to adjust your gears. One true bonus is it has two speeds. While my 8-year son can use it at low speed, the high-speed mode is the right amount of fun for me (175 pounds). I may even buy another one and use the two in bundle to spice things up.
