It has the wonderful full on leather smell. The hardware is all quality brass. The stitching is just excellent. When you lift the top flap first you see a pocket that is just open one side is raw leather other is smooth. Then the main compartment your first pocket is zippered, then an open space with 2 pen holders and key clip, 2 other pockets one large and deep other smaller and tight. Then you have a padded divider held by a Velcro strap to another compartment. The material inside the bag is nice cotton soft feeling. This bag has a lot of room for any purpose you might find you need it for. This is a exceptionally made bag period… I hope this has helped.
