Review: It took me a long time to find the exact same marinated beans that are sold through Fred Myers olive bar at a much cheaper price - I Love, Love, Love these Marinated Giant White Beans from Divina. It took me a long time to find the same beans that are sold through Fred Myer's olive bar, and at the quarter of the cost when compared price for the pound. I even did a comparison taste test, and they are indeed the same buttery beans in the light, tangy vinaigrette. I purchased this can because I was hosting a dinner party and wanted the beans as a side dish, but did not wish to pay the supermarket price. Everybody loves these beans, and a few left overs went into the fridge but did not last long, because I kept eating them LOL These beans are a treat to any apéritif platter with olives and Halloumi cheese. You can also eat them with salad, and makes for a great side dish of black-eyed peas with chopped onions. Although I would prefer to purchase these beans in a smaller size of the can, I am very happy with my purchase, and will always have a can in my larder, ready for any dinner party, or surprise guests/friends to eat when drinking a nice glass of wine! I hope that you have found my opinion to be helpful with your decision process to buy this item. If this is the case, and where desertcart asks if this review helpful, please click "yes." Thank you!
Review: Don't Keep in Fridge Too Long - I absolutely love these beans. They are exactly what you get at the olive bars in expensive stores, but at a much better price point. However, after 6 weeks (I would serve these as appetizers 2 times per week), I opened the Tupperware container and there was this white fuzzy stuff (mold??) on the ones that weren't totally submerged in the oil. I removed these and carefully inspected the remainder to see if there was any "mold" and found none. They tasted fine. SO, since someone in a review said they could be frozen, I would suggest if you aren't going to use them right away (or within 2-3 weeks), I would freeze part so as not to have to deal with that nasty-looking fuzzy stuff. I'm still very curious how this happened. If anyone out there has any ideas, I'd love to hear from you. PS: Even after I froze half of them (the second batch I bought), that fuzzy mold stuff appeared. I'm going back to making my own, which keep forever without mold. There is some unknown ingredient that is causing this, so be very careful and use them up right away.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finally, packaged beautifully
*by P***A on October 16, 2024*

I have purchased a few cans over the last 3 or 4 years and every can was dented. Of course, there is always a worry when consuming food from dented cans. Amazon has finally learned how to ship these beans to protect from extreme denting. My can was wrapped, padded and sealed. I can now serve and enjoy the contents confidently. These beans are the absolute best. Add some chopped, cooked broccoli rabe or kale to them and you have a lovely cold salad. Love the giant beans
