If not how do you get rid of the eggs?** A: Apply the gel and leave it for 10 mins and then comb the hair you will see all the live ones are dead. You may have to repeat after two or three days if not fully gone. Eggs are difficult to get rid off even after two three showers. I find coconut oil helping to get rid of dead eggs sticking to the hair. I don't even know if the other child has lice, my kids can attract them anyway. They start small, just one or two, but if you don't notice you see your kids get up in the morning with bed hair like you've never seen and you just know that the lice have come back and they've been scratching all night. And the thing I hate about lice the most is that they hate me too, I only have to comb one of my kids hair and I end up with bites from the darn critters everywhere from neck to my toes. So, back to the review. Headlice lotions are crap, yep we've tried them all. It doesn't matter what you do, the lice will keep coming back for more, their resistance is strong. But Hedrin Once, nasty, greasy and a pain to wash out, will get rid of them and give you a little peace for a while. And the best advantage, you only have to do it once, no repeat performance 3 to 7 days later. This stuff works. Your kids will walk around like grease bombs for a few days, but the lice will die and so will the eggs. I went for this product and I used washing up liquid to get it out, mainly because that is also something that gets rid of lice.
