They don't get hot, they're reliable, they get full gigabit speed, and despite what other reviews have mentioned, all four of mine worked perfectly in a MikroTik CRS309 and CRS305 and have had zero downtime or issues. The only thing that doesn't work is auto-negotiation -- you'll need to set the link speed manually in the switch's software. As someone who had never done it before, it took me less than a minute to set the ports to 1 gigabit speed, and I haven't had to touch them since. Highly recommended!
