The graphics are factory imprinted, so NO DECALS! And, the ships light up! Yeah, its not LED, but that was OK with me. Much of the criticism that I see about these Bandai model kits is about seams, light bleed, and difficulty in assembly. Its all about your skill level and patience. I found the assembly to be totally enjoyable! Wish Bandai has continued the series! The only slight criticism is that the ships are not to scale with one another, but given the theoretical difference in size of the 1701 E and the NX-01, its totally understandable.
