The articulating head has maintained its tension, as have the springs that retract the arms. The diameter of louver attachment is slightly large, so it would be challenging if your a/c blades are narrow, but mine aren't so it's not an issue. Paint has not chipped or faded. Review: It’s ok - The clip stayed in the vent great, but the phone dropped down so it was angled more towards the floor. I would reposition it, and it would slowly start to drop down again. That was the only thing I didn’t like.
