This ball is great, it feels like it's made to last and it also has measuring thingy on the side, I've had mine for a while now and it's still as good as new although I do want to point out not to put it in the tumble drier, I personally haven't nor would I but I've seen a few comment's on balls like this where people have and as expected from plastic it melted and went misshaped. As others have said, after a hot wash it does discolour but did go back to it's clear state until the tie-dye incident. I use it for a hot pre-wash cycle (I know it says don't use for pre-wash but it works great for that) but I prefer it to putting the detergent into the drawer. It works equally well to measure out liquid for a normal wash.
