Refurbished S121A Hand-Held Fusion Splicer The S121A is the first fully functional fusion splicer designed specifically for fiber-to-the-home applications. The FITEL S121 series mass fusion splicing machine is FITELs latest addition to its hand-held splicing series. Its designed for splicing single to 4-ribbon fibers. Like the other S121 models it is about one-third the size of a typical mini-splicer weighs just 2.2 pounds without the battery and does not require a flat surface. A detachable fiber holder system is available. The unit features fully automatic fiber feed alignment splicing arc and tension test. You can monitor all splicing operations for accuracy using the units integrated CCD camera and 2.5-inch LCD display.
