So happy to be able to make my teas again. It’s amazing how different your teas taste when heating to the perfect temperature. CUSTOMER SERVICE THIS TIME WAS PERFECT!Worked great the first 2 1/2 years - loved that it has different temperatures for different types of teas and all. Used it frequently because how hot the tea I make needs to be and just made the tea taste the best.My only concern is it just started to act weird making strange popping noises when heating up, sadly not long when the warranty ran out. It started getting finicky a few months before that , it wouldn’t turn on sporadically. Then it would and heat up fine. I also noticed that around the spout near the bottom where it bends before connecting to the pot the black paint started to peel a little. But that didn’t bother as much as the very loud popping noises it would make so I just quit using it and got in touch with the company. But of course since the warranty is over they wouldn’t do anything about it. So now I’m in search of a different but similar tea kettle. In my humble opinion it should have lasted a lot longer thena few years. I’ve had coffee pots and blenders that have last way longer than that. Sadly I won’t be purchasing from this company again as I think they should stand behind their products.But if you want a tea kettle that does all this does(which is wonderful) but only lasts a couple years. I’d recommend it. Cord length is great, the auto shut off works perfectly but the ease of cleaning because of the small mouth of the pot makes it a bit of a challenge to clean well. I just made sure I rinsed it well after each use.
