Much better to have these with a gel filling and no worry about leaking, and good value. So, make sure you leave the pads uncovered to cool during the day, or in the fridge for more cooling. You need to try on top of your pillow inside the case, or on top of your sheet near your face which is a gentler but still effective relief. Lovely and cool when you get into bed, and although they warm up during the night (because you ge two) I've put on on either side of the pillow under the pillow-slip and I just flip it over. I was so impressed I bouthg a second pair because they will be a Godsend in summer. Haven't tried them in the fridge yet - but as the outside temparature climbs I can see me having a set permanantly on 'COOL' along side the jugged water.
