**Q: Is the stand permanently attached**
A: Mine comes on and off,it dosen't fall off,but when I reorganize my models,I take his stand off,I have never played with him [I'm a collector so they just sit on my shelf] it dosen't seem to affect how he stands on the stand and it doesn't fall off when I pick him up,so it seems to be that it does or dosen't come off

**Q: What's the color of the Secretariat model? He looks almost like a liver-chestnut in the photos, which isn't right . . . Thanks very kindly!**
A: I have this and I have seen Secretariat while he was standing  stud at Claiborne Farm.  This is a nice keepsake but it is not a true likeness. The color is off although I wouldn’t call it liver.  The head isn’t quite accurate either. The body shape and markings are good.  I still treasure it as a collector.

A: This product is made of plastic. It is beautiful!

**Q: Where can I buy just the stand? I need an extra for a model we bought at a garage sale.**
A: Sadly Breyer doesn't sell stands [I've looked] but ebay would be a good place to find a stand
