The EZ Vane rain gauge, designed to fit all EZ Vane weathervanes, is an effective way to measure precipitation up to 5 inches. To install, just slide the bracket over the weather vane pole to the desired height and slip the glass vial into the rubber grommet. Made of 14-gauge steel, the rain gauge bracket is coated 3 times to make it maintenance-free. The first coat of yellow zinc chromate prevents rust. The second coat of antique copper vein powder is baked on for beauty and durability. The third coat of clear powder is baked on to prevent fading. This attractive accessory is made to last.
