I had trouble with other hangers not being tight enough. One end or the other would fall off the hanger. These are super strong. They have rubberized clips so they won't dammaged your clothing. They are rubber coated over the hanger part and on the bottom of the clip part. This makes them easier on clothes than the metal clips would be. If I have a complaint about these, it is that they don't move as easily across the pole as plain metal does. However the rubber coating should make them last longer all around.I recently realized that you can remove the rubber from the hook so that the hanger glides easily along the pole! If you need it to stay stationary leave it, if you need it to move take it off. Sturdy, non-slip, fit over a metal closet rod, and the clips require a gentle force to adjust on the bar so they don't move all over the place which was my main concern. We remodeled the closet to add in extra rods for hanging clothes in a dead space but neglected to figure in hanger length. So I ended up with a rod that could not be used because the clothes would hang over the rod below it.
