A: I believe it does. By the way, this Chili Paste is too sweet and not even 1 star of spicy.

A: It best to use it before the expiration date after opening and refrigerating

**Q: Does this item need to be refrigerated after opening?**
A: I do refrigerate mine after opening.  Keeps everything tasting fresh.  Try making Prawns and cashews with this and sauteed mushrooms and onions.  Use a little ginger and fresh garlic add stock or water to the sauce and grill the prawns top with cilantro it's delicious.

The box had a dent in it upon arrival. When I opened the packaging, the jar was cracked. With no recourse to return. So, I never tasted the product.
