I hung these 2 curtain panels on a traverse rod with curtain hooks and I was able to hang the curtains within 30 minutes of them arriving on my door step. The pictures that you see are the curtain panels straight out of the package. Please note that I am seeing the creases drop out of the fabric after a couple of days of hanging.After reading some of the other reviews, I was wary about ordering but I have never seen curtains of this width and length available off the shelf in ANY store so I decided to order and assess the curtains for myself. I am glad I did! My patio door is 10 feet wide and I have had a variety of blinds and curtains at this door over the past 8 years. I will say that these new curtains are the best thing yet. So easy now to open and close the curtains without having to mess with 10 separate panels at the door. The curtains glide easily along the traverse track. I have attached photos to show the new curtains along with the 'old' curtains that have been hung at the door for the past several years to give some perspective of how the new curtains look in comparison in both color and fabric. The new curtains are so much better in my opinion. The fabric weight is fairly heavy which is a good sign and are most definitely blackout - I cannot see daylight through these curtains at all. The curtain panels are already pleated and they hang quite nicely IMO. I must have curtains at my 10 foot wide patio door because of energy loss and these curtains have definitely helped to keep the house warmer in the cold weather we are having right now. I am really very pleased with the way the curtains look and the value for my money. There is a lot of fabric here. Another nice thing is that when the curtains are opened and both pulled back against the door frame on the left side, they hang very compactly without much bulk even though there is a lot of fabric. I like that because I want to be able to see all of my garden without curtains hanging in the way. If I had one 'complaint' it is that the curtain panels are not lined. If they were lined with a matching brown liner fabric, they would be perfect.Edited to add:Please note that there is only ONE curtain per package.Also, I steam ironed the curtains today and the result is fantastic. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars TRUE blackout curtains and these are RARE ones that actually work with TRAVERSE RODS!! *by S***A on Reviewed in the United States on September 21, 2020* VERY happy with this purchase! I wasn't sure they'd really work at all with my traverse rods and extremely long window, but they DO; you just need to buy PINS, not hooks. I got the long pins, which are even harder to find than the curtains and short pins. These are true blackout curtains; I can't vouch for whether they keep COLD air out but they've definitely helped to keep that room cooler in New Orleans late summer heat. They look much nicer than you'd expect for the price.My only warnings are that1. The fabric is the type that will "pull" if snagged on anything so be careful that you're hanging these where nothing rough will touch them including cats' claws. I LOVE that these were long enough that I could buy just 1 package of 2 panels to cover my entire extremely long window rather than using multiple panels which would not be as effective for blackout purposes.2. Because of the above, I wouldn't attempt to EVER wash these; they'd likely be ruined. Maybe dry clean, but even then you'd run the risk of ruining them.I highly recommend these curtains if you're looking for TRUE blackout curtains to cover a large area at a FRACTION of the typical price you'll find for other brands. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Traverse Rod on patio door *by M***A on Reviewed in the United States on October 27, 2016* I ordered this to hang on the Traverse rod on my patio door. I did not get instuctions with mine that said anything about removing stiches. The hook on the rod to the floor is 81in high and 80in across. This curtain once hung only drags by about 1/2 inch. So I will have to hem this about an inch. I have done this temporarily using the hooks that are too big to fit (butterfly) but drapery pins will work to hang. It was plenty wide enough and the curtain has 15 hooks, my Traverse had 21 but it still worked fine just pulled the unused to the far end. I hung mine with the 4 prong pressure hooks. It was tough to get them in I did not have to tear out any stiches althou if I had instructions it may have been easier I saw a few reviews about removing stiches, it took about 30 minutes. The four prong hooks are much more secure than the pins if you have pet, children, or high traffic that it might get the occasional tug.The color I ordered was weat this is more of a semi shiny gold but I like it. The quality is desent does have a few bad areas of stitching that I noticed but nothing major. Curtain is heavy around 5lbs in weight but not overly thick. The back is not the foam type it is fabric so I am hoping this will wash better than some of my other eclipse curtains if it doesn't I will update this review. It does block light very well, this door doesn't get direct sun light so I can not rate it on that.The draft freezing my poor dog is gone thou and when you open it you can feel the cold air it was holding wosh in. I live in NY and it is 31° right now so it definitely insulated my door.
