They're probably okay if you're just needing something of the right shape and size, but they're a little lighter than an original CD case, the front is a little more flimsy, and the tray isn't like the one pictured (as best I can tell from the poor quality of the product photo). The center of the spindle is just a hole, with the teeth around it, rather than a crossed star. I purchased these as replacements for some damaged PS1 game cases in my collection, but I really can't use these since they're very unlike original PS1 cases.
