They send a message via email & desertcart but I'm retired and don't spend much time in front of a computer anymore. The shipper was in the process of returning the crate when I contacted them for delivery or self pickup. I worked with JEGS & Shipper to have the crate available for pickup and shippers location. Crate had some damage but well pact and no damage to contents. PRODUCT: Great tool for loading heavy object in my F250 FX4. I've moved some heavy logs and my generator with no problems. My Chiropractor isn't happy, but my back is ;-p JEGS: They worked with my on the phone to get this delivered. It was my choice to pick the crate up as it we only 8 miles and I wanted it today. I did come up short two (2) lock pins and JEGS quickly sent them. Great tool and well worth the price. Review: No assembly manual. Downhill from there. - The wooden crate arrived totally broken. The parts were mostly bubble wrapped, but just tossed in the crate, which probably caused the flimsy crate to break as it was jostled around. Either JEGs includes no manual, or the manual fell from the broken crate during delivery. The assembly wasn't too hard, if you watch any video for similar products. Included was a loose plastic bag with 5 locking pins, 7 bolts and an incomplete set of washers. It also included 2 hitch pins and 3 clips... Uh- Okay ? I think it is also missing the stopper pin so the boom doesn't rotate out of control and allows the load to whack your truck bed. I ended buying extra locking pins, as it made no sense to use the all the included screws on the stand/leg slots, which you may frequently change for height adjustment. Only the feet should be bolted. I liked the slotted leg inserts. Good idea. I also greased the bearings on the rotating base, as they were all creaky. They looked dry to me. Finally, I extended the lift all the way and hung myself from the end of the boom to test it. The piston receded about an inch... I weigh 210 lbs, not 500. The lifting arm needs to be far enough out to pull an engine out of a car. The crane itself is heavy duty enough. If you extend the crane out beyond the side of your vehicle left or right I would say yes. I hope that helps. I haven’t pulled an engine out of a car with it. **Q: How long is the boom length** A: The boom's total length is 43 inches, from pivot point to 500 lb lift point is 40 inches, from the 750 lb lift point is 35 inches and 30 inches to the 1000 lb lift point. I have used it once to lift a Craftsman compressor (200 lbs, give or take) into my F150's bed, it worked just fine. **Q: Will it work with cargo van ?** A: Yes I do believe it will.
