My washing method: (Ive used this on the hat and the Newt Scamander scarf) I hand washed the item in the sink with cold water. I fill up the sink with a small amount of Woolite detergent, and dunk the item in till its good and saturated, empty the sink and the rinse with cold water. I squeeze most of the water out then lay it flat on a towel and roll the towel with the hat in it to squeeze out any last water, after that I lay the item out flat to finish drying.
