This is my 4th book in the set and totally worth it. For starters my 16 month old loves these books and finds so much joy in showing me all the words she knows. I have been able to find some of these books at my local library but not this one so I decided to get it in order to teach her colors. As far as the layout goes, the book includes the colors Blue, Yellow, Green, Orange, Purple, Pink, Brown, Black and White, and Rainbow. The first 5 colors have 2 pages full of various items in that color. Followed by a 2 page spread of a photographed scene of something in nature. What I like: - Perfect size for packing in a diaper bag to take to church or to a restaurant to keep the little one’s attention. - I counted and there are roughly 90 words your child can learn from this book and that doesn’t include the words you will use as you talk about the different pictures you see. - The pictures are beautiful and realistic. What I don’t like: - This is not a huge deal but some items are not shown in the color you would expect them to represent. For example, they have a picture of a yellow eraser rather than the typical pink eraser. Overall, I would highly recommend these books to anyone with a child between the ages of 6 months and 3 years! The price is totally worth it considering the hours of reading time you will get to enjoy!
