An installation guide is included- but it's very vague..The pipe issue:- It's NOT included- Spec. diameter isn't listed anywhere(I even called Friedrich, 3 different reps couldn't even give me a best guess)Measured after receiving it, I used a 1/2" (inside diameter) pipe- fit like a glove
