**Q: what is the concentration? 20% or 30%?**
A: Regular, white vinegar consists of about 5% acetic acid and 95% water. On the other hand, cleaning vinegar has an acidity of 6%. That 1% more acidity makes it 20% stronger than white vinegar.

**Q: The difference between cleaning vinegar and regular is 20%.  If you read the labels it says 6% Vinegar for cleaning and 5% Vinegar for regular.**
A: It is 20% stronger because one is 20% (1/5)  of five. So if you increase from 5% to 6% you have added 20% more. I’m not great at explaining things but I hope I made it clear.

**Q: Does this work on mineral stains in the toilet from well water and is it safe for septic systems?**
A: I am not sure if this is safe for a septic system... as far as your mineral stains go, a safe way to get them out is with a pumice stone.  Yes, this method takes rubber gloves and a bit of scrubbing, after it is cleaned however, a can of coke every once or twice a month (let it soak overnight) should keep it clean.  I use this vinegar for cleaning windows, mopping floors, and toilet cleaning...however, I don't have to worry about a septic system, which can be very expensive if things get out of whack.

**Q: What is the formula using Heinz cleaning vinegar & Dawn (blue only) dish soap to get our bathtubs clean? I've been told it is awesome.**
A: Mix equal parts heinze cleaning vinegar with blue dawn.Here are a few notes based on our experiences:When mixing up your Dawn and vinegar solution for the spray bottle, be sure to follow the original directions and heat the vinegar first. My husband made a batch without realizing that was a step, and the result didn't work as well.As you can imagine with something that uses heated vinegar: this stuff does not have the "lemon" smell you normally associate with cleaners. Or, as my daughter put it, "Why does it smell so bad in here?" The odor dissipates quickly enough, but just be prepared for a strong vinegar smell. Chances are you might prefer it to a chemical cleaner.
