And quality-wise (not fps) is it the same as Nvidia cards or colours, shadows, water, light looks differen** A: Up until last week, I owned a 1080Ti (which I had since June 2018), I also own the Sapphire 5700XT (for just over 1 month). In all the fps games which I play that are not nvidia biased (example - star wars battle front 2), my 5700XT gives exactly the same fps as my 1080Ti. My 5700XT also gives better graphical fidelity (better clarity and richer colours). In games that are nvidia biased such as the crysis trilogy, my 5700xt performs about 15% faster than my original MSI gtx1080 (which I purchased in March 2017). I decided to sell of my 1080Ti because it is based on the old Pascal architecture which made it's debut with the gtx1080 back in June 2016, so Pascal is over 3 years and 4 months old whilst the 5700XT is based on brand new 7nm Navi architecture. AMD will be releasing new gpu drivers in December 2019 for the 5700/XT and upcoming 5800/XT (RTX-2080/Ti competitor) which will also support ray tracing via software (and partly through the unique hardware called Asynchronous Compute Engines).
