The needle-eyes are large enough to thread all yarns simply, but not so enormous that they hamper movement among the warps. The extra length of the needle makes it possible to use each one as a bobbin for weaving tapestry, as well. They are spectacular with yarn of all weights!! And they aren't stabby, the way even blunt metal needles can be, which is very much appreciated!! And at their price, I am able to afford to allow class members to keep the needle they are using, so they can continue work at home on the projects they start in class.
