It looks like it would provide some protection if dropped. It wasn't easy to put on to the tablet, that took a bit of time. The quality isn't amazing, in places it was cut too deeply and looked like the cover would split completely around the tabs. The built in stand is ok but not that stable. The bulkiness of the cover makes it difficult to put into a tablet zip up case.
